An impression I have formed in the sailing variety of boating is...
There are a large number of very able people who have no qualifications but are excellant and safe sailors.
There are a smaller number who have done the courses and exams.
There are a slightly smaller number who have neither the experience or the will to get trained who are a bloody menace to all water users and not least of all to themselves.
Is this reflected in the motor variety of boating?
