Just had an email from a boater going round from Meredway to Thames asking about stopping off places to break journey,he mentioned WID.
Answered as follows.
Gallions ........No idea and back of beyond.
South Dock worth asking but busy or probably full.
WID Virtually club events only
Limehouse Full
St Kats Full see above x 10
Chelsea Inside Full and blimming bumpy outside.
Imperial. How much ! ...your joking.

What about Chiswick Pier. It's a lot cheaper than up in town! Also contact Chiswick Quay Marina. They don't officially do VMs but John is a reasonable man and may be able to sort something out if its impossible anywhere else.

Gravesend pontoon or the buoys are alternatives in that neck of the woods.

Greenwich Yacht Club have been very accommodating to me in the past, even offering the pontoon free of charge. However *very* bumpy when river buses and gravel ships pass, so lots of fenders needed.
