A piece of Garmin kit

I found this kit in the boat it has a usb plug what does it do , any help appreciated , ps I have all ray marine on board.

Yes just charged and connected to my iPad will be great back up for boat gps . That’s a good find.

I’m always amazed with stuff you find in the lockers and bilge of a new boat. I found two dive bottles under the v berth in my boat.
