Ooh looky, is that Sunshine we see?

Time to take a trip to Windsor, see if the old Girls garden is looking good...

'Ready to cast off at the stern Skipper!'

...and we were under way towards Windsor-upon-Thames.

Still a bit lacking in greenery, but not a bad time of year to see what's normally hidden! Here's the Racecourse from a distance.

Cor blimey! Another boat....!

Romney, I believe! Still nice and Sunny, but not many people in the locks. Millions in all the Marina's though...strange!?

Windsor estate looking very well manicured, as usual. Don't laugh, you're paying /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Still very little traffic, but getting cooler now.

Had a good nights sleep too, the V berth accomodating 2 humans + 2 Dogs pretty well.
Boat performed faultlessly, maxed out at 7.8 knots on a wide section (Naughty, but need to know beforehand what her cruising and maximum speed capabilities are for a forthcoming tidal trip) still with virtually no wake at all! Astonishing...

Looked out this morning and decided to go home though, a poor forecast with lots of Wind and a smattering of rain was enough given the marginal Weather anyway...

A Nice day out though, and next trip will be up to try Boulters restaurant after a few recommendations /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Looks like a nice trip. Now you are so high up you'll get used to lots of nice views you never used to see in the Birchwood.

Would the tidal trip you mentioned be for the marathon by any chance?

Darren.

PS Is it just the way the picture has come out or have you got something pinned to your back in the second picture?

I didn't ever have one /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I'm so skint now I'm considering berthing on the tidal section to save on Diesel /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Anyway. Does the forum really want the embarrasment of having it's burgee displayed on such an infamous vessel? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

The clothing logo says 'Better a bad day on the water than a good day at the office.

That was good enough for me! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sadly, I'm working on the Marathon trip, but want to take a few days off to go down to Greenwich area in the Summer.

Looks a very nice boat, spotted the add for your old one on the brokerage board at Bray.
Always nice to have a bit more space so you can go further for longer.

I wondered who would notice that /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I'll collect it on the way past, Tedders. A kind offer, even at the asking price /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
