A nautical term for an overloaded boat?

Are there any nautical terms or phrases for when a boat is overloaded?

For example when a dinghy is too full and the waterline is close to the gunwale.

A non native english speaker asked me for such a term, but the best I could come up with was "sitting deep in the water".

'By the head' is a term used when overloaded and the bow is sitting low, 'down by the head'. Similarly 'by the stern'

"Below her marks" and "By the head" and "by the stern" sound like good nautical terms

However, Low in the water might be the best one as it is for an international crowd. I think he is writing a caption or short paragraph to describe a photograph.

Coffin ships?

I've seen a few coffin dinghies heading off to boats up Portsmouth harbour a few times and wondered if they wouldn't be swimming back. Some of them powered by coffin outboards.

Id say quite simply, 'overloaded' whe dangerously low in the water.

I had the opposite I had our teak decks removed, steel boat, it was so heavy when removed the boat was 3 inches higher in the water.

Don’t know the term for overloaded but when a helpful chap rowing his wife and 2 kids ashore gave me and my mate a lift ,his wife had some very interesting terms when we floundered and ended up to our waists in Medway mud. It was 47 years ago and I still cringe
