1. THE MCMV HMS BANGOR (SEE PORTSMOUTH LNTM 09/05) HAS TODAY LAID A TEMPORARY PRACTICE TARGET MINE IN POSN 50 DEG 46.70N 001 DEG 09.79W (STOKES BAY). A FLOATING YELLOW SPECIAL BUOY WILL BE VISIBLE ON THE SURFACE AND DISPLAY A YELLOW FLASHING LIGHT BY NIGHT.

2. THIS OBSTRUCTION WILL REMAIN IN THE ABOVE POSN UFN.


I guess that's an area to keep clear of. One up on fishing gear tho'.

that would be fun if they want to use it whilst the lasers world qualifiers are going on ther shortly !!

They are called "marinas" and they are "gold mines" They should be avoided whenever possible as they can cause serious serious damage to your liquidity

As a member of Stokes Bay sailing club, I think racing my laser on Sunday may get interesting.

At least we've got a new mark to play with !
