A marine engineer, Plymouth area, recommendations please.

I’m looking for a marine engineer to inspect a Volvo 2020 on a boat I’m buying in Plymouth. Ideally a small indépendant engineer, any recommendations would be gratefully received.

I know of one with good reputation, but he is so grumpy I would be reluctant to go to him again. He also has declined or somehow avoided all my possible tasks.

Quite a few at or via Plymouth Yacht Haven, but only know Hemisphere Eng for masts directly. Where is the boat?

Taz of TK Marine (based in Torpoint) helped me solve a problem over the phone with my Bukh DV24 that enabled me to fix it myself. Nice guy who sounded like he new his stuff. But have not used him other than that phone call. Bei Facebook anmelden

Tk Marine did my stern tube fine (Taz Marks), but dont know how his lot are with engines

Marine Engineering of Looe are Volvo specialists but never used them as no longer have Volvo
