Thanks guys. Now just need to know whether the emergency stop on the KAD300 is 'push to make' or 'push to break'

Stop solenoids are usually energized to pull a cable or rod on the pump so push to make is almost certain, note the use of almost.

Can't find a wiring diagram, but as it is called an 'emergency stop' I would expect it to fail safe, i.e. Normally closed, that way if the circuit breaks or if the fuse blows the engine stops, but cannot confirm this.

I guess a SPDT Mom push switch such as that suggested by Henryf, then try the NC and NO to see which allows the engine to run.
