I've just checked Jimi's profile - it is an absolute disgrace.

It is a blatant snub at the sensible and fine upstanding folk that inhabit these respectable pages.

This can only lead to the rot setting in, that man with the funny hat has even been looking around the interweb for animal sites with pictures of budgies with feathers and everything.

Profile Readers

Lengthy study of peoples personal profiles has led me to certain conclusions, which having 5 minutes to spare from this busy busy life, I will share with you. The variety of information given is on a scale as broad and as vast as the autistic spectrum. At the one extreme there is merely a user name - at the other a virtual CV. - Lets explore this a little further... the first case scenario can be likened to a grunt - no information given and the reader leaves the webpage without the additional information which they presumably went there for. Perhaps this is a reflection of the 'I don't trust the internet and I'm not putting personal infomation there' syndrome.
The other end of the spectrum - into which Jimi undoubtably fits is by contrast informative and gives the reader an insight into the very private and troubled world of the forum member.
How can you say this is a disgrace? There are several headings in there that no-one understands - Jimi certainly doesn't understand many of them so he makes up for this with gifted, educated, often inaccurate stabs at what he thinks is required - in other words, he has tried.
How can he be blamed or castigated for trying...and yet he is.
Ian I think you are the disgrace and should get the beers in at the LBS. If not attending, please send cheque or postal order to value of 1 large round.

Naturally when I read this I rushed to Jimi's profile expecting to find revelations of a sensational and salacious nature.

Park bench indeed. Is it the meat or the micky that has been extracted here? I think we should be told.
