A liitle ambition realised today

Well she is nearly 5 years old and has been on the boat for stays in France and motoring around to bays on quiet days. But this afternoon was the first time I took my daughter out for a proper sail. 15Knts of breeze and a bit of a swell. left four rolls in the genoa and close reached across the bay and back a couple of times. We had packed lunches (dinner time) and she seemed to enjoy it, helped hoist the genoa and kept a look out for ferries and pirates and thank fully the fairies had visited the boat and sprinkled magic dust so that she would sail......But daughter not that daft and told me it was just spray on the foredeck!

All I can say it was a magic sail. We both had bouyancy aids on and I have completely netted around the cockpit.
