That could have been really nasty. I seem to remember at least 2 people died this year from falling out of ribs and being killed by propellers.

I did exactly the same as the video by accident last summer, very scary when you cant get back to the tiller to regain control.

If the guy had been wearing the safety cutout lanyard the engine would have stopped safely when it flew of the transom
