Well we had a good trip both ways motored the first 1/3 on the outward trip with a fine sail in to Oostende from the TSS.
enjoyed the stay there but decided to Quit whilst ahead on saturday due to the forecast & sailed @ 11.25hrs on Saturday after breakfast & shopping back in Ipswich & in the shower by 23.15 followed by a curry on board all in all a good w/e & Mels fastest crossing in the 24 yrs he has crewed with me /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Wow, took us closer to 15, then again my sail trim leaves a bit to be desired.

We had similar conditions to Bernie and crew as they set off just a couple of hours before us. All were fine except poor Wes who was sick again pretty much all the way home. Funny because he hasn't been sick before (well just once sailing up from Ramsgate > Harwich with quite a chop running off N. Forleand).

Great sail back too except for when my radar went on the blink just as vis went down to less than 1/2 mile as we were about to enter the Westhinder TSS, got it fixed in the nick of time though!
