We are going to resuce a friends boat that has been stranded in Newark for a couple of months. He was taken ill whilst away on the boat so it was taken to Newark marina. He is still too ill to bring it back himself so we are going to bring it back for him as he is currently paying berthing fees both at Newark and his home berth at Burton Waters!!
Should be interesting as his boat is the same as one we seriously considered before buying Naughty-Cal. It will be interesting to compare the two. It does however mean we have an early start on saturday. We have to be at Newark Marina for 7am and its a 40 minute drive from BurtonWaters.
