Hi All

I realise this could turn contentious as I know how fiercely loyal you all are to your own marina etc but I am considering a role near Kingston that means I would be living on the boat mid week etc.. I used to livaboard up at Penton Hook and I loved the community spirit there and wondered if I can find the same further down the Thames?

As always, any advice is always welcome providing it is constructive.. :D Worst case, just showers, a loo and some form of security will do..

The only real marina is Thames Ditton Marina but you do have a couple of boat yards either side they may allow live aboard or "extended" holidays. One is Harts by the pub the other is barge walk I think which is off Ferry road in Thames Ditton.

Thank you.. TDM are full and now (not according to their website) leisure only.. I will try the yards and maybe take a look either side, Shepperton and Teddington way.. I am happy with a 20min cycle ride in..

Nothing residential Teddington side (well not legal) but Eel Pie Island may have something. Otherwise its upstream but again very limited for residential.
