We had this little fellow join us about the same place a few years ago; again flew off as we approached the Deben.

We seem to attract warblers. If Photobucket's new format doesn't drive me mad here are a couple, from different years. I'm not sure about either but the first could be an icterine warbler:

More of a pigeon man myself
this one was totally knackered trip from Dieppe > Boulogne

Here's one that was not satisfied with navigating took on the idea of Pigeon Pie for supper.

Picked her up off St Catherine's dropped her off at Dungeness.

This fellow flew straight into the cabin as we were taking up Krabbenkreek last year.

Seems to me there's rather a lot of cheating racing pigeons around; but don't suppose it gains them much hitching a lift.

we took one back to Ijmuiden, he soon perked-up when he spotted the local talent when we arrived
