I'm looking into getting an A frame section for her stern to house, wind power, emergency antennas, possibly a solar panel, along with some other things. I guess its easiest to have one designed and manufactured at a local fabrication shop however, can anyone recommend somewhere who specializes in these in the UK or IRL?
I don't even know the correct "terminology" for this piece, even if there is one.
I'm also afraid that weight/balance might become an issue on a 28footer so i need to go about this cleverly, and my boat design is quiet narrow on the stern.
Can anyone let me know of any draw backs they might have experienced with such a piece of equipment, and what should i really be looking out for? And any advice in general with this would be much appreciated.

You could usefully look at this for ideas.....

You may want to speak to Mr Stainless.
Has always done a sterling job for us.
