A few summer pics

It's not an AP or Artika. Lots of detailed reasons why, but APs never had tumblehome like the one in Scubaman's pic. Also this mystery boat is nearly new - I bet less than 2 years old

The old APs which today are Artika have a tumblehome stern!
The differences speaking of the today named Artika 40 Speedster was mostly the windshield (divided in two parts today as Artika) but also the upper fore deck is a bit sleeker. But may be these modifications where made recently, that is why my doubt came that this could be an old Austin Parker.

Yes, sure they had tumblehome, but I said they never had tumblehome like the tumblehome in Scubaman's pic. The ones you mention had just slight tumblehome, whereas the Egemar in the picture and Hinckleys have much more extreme tumblehome.

What I'm more curious about is why Firefly's first pic shows it in an underground car park with a load of Bavarias and even a Bav logo at its transom :)

neither I knew Egemar before,
but could use some distraction at work :)
so browsing the net...

the best boat catalogs are the for sale sites,
there is a "worldwide brokers" site that does it for me,
also when searching a new/ or another boat,

looking forward to scubaman's search thread !!!

very elegant boat indeed, well spotted Scubaman !

Having come rather late to this thread my first thought was: I wouldn't mind that Nimbus. Then: I wouldn't half mind that Dale/Hinckley or - as I know know - Egemar.

I was following a Dale 45 into Lymington two or three weeks ago. Lovely.

Ben, indeed the Dale is a truly Class act

It may have been this one, she's moored on a swing mooring in Beaulieu river (I'm sure that should be a crime..)

sorry to OP for thread drift!

fabulous photos SM, it's always a pleasure to view them, and good luck with the search for a new vessel.

Nobody answered your question regarding the location, where you in the UK over the summer? Was that an RNLI RIB being launched from the beach?

Yes, the pics are actually from Cromer, Norfolk. We spent a week there in early July. Nice place and beautiful scenery. Next time it's going to be a more boaty destination, however :)
