I have sailed the Isis and port meadow three times now
twice last winter year when the thames was low and there was snow on the ground
and once this year when the Thames was in flood
I have added a few stills to the page about the duck punt
There is something very special about the Thames
as a Londoner by birth, educated at Reading and now living near oxford it has always been a special river to me and changes identity every mile as it moves from a tranquil inland river to a mighty estuary
