We may not even get any sailing done this season. So what better time to take on a classic wooden sailing boat for restoration? The seller says it would not take long to get sorted, it floats though the Renault engine may need attention and the rudder is missing.

Sounds like that is what he should be paying somebody to take it away!

Mind you, moor it out mid river it would be a good place to put your strategic stockpile of toilet rolls.

It would be a major result for the seller to have someone remove it from it's mooring at no cost to him but try telling him that...

There was one like that in Brighton Marina last year. It had a big sign on the tarpaulin that covered the deck "free boat" it said. It also took six months to shift. I believe it is now in the boat yard being, to quote the expression used by the seller here, "sorted".
