My "deep discharge" technique only ever takes me down to 70% of full capacity before I start the genny - but with 1050 Ah available we have only used the genny twice this year. Spent too much time in marinas avoiding the Atlantic swell. Now in Lagos and heading into the Med next year when the system will be really tested. I still think we have a very good setup that was worth the investment.
