Axshully, more likely to have been taken after 1900, when all Lake Solent sailors are marina'd coz they know if they stay out late, someone else will have plugged into 'their' shore power socket.
I take it your boat is a bilge keeler, but still pretty impressive to moor it at the top of the cliffs. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The Solent is a wonderful sailing area, the only problem is that it is somewhat over utilised, being so close to the richest & most densly populated part of the UK.
I prefer places that are equally pretty - or more so, & relatively unfrequented by yotties & mobos.
Ta, we do feel blessed and we have the New Forest about 5 mins north as well. If we had a few Scottish mountains or the Lake District nearby we'd have the lot.
