A couple of classics on the beach

And just in case anyone would like to know.....

The one on the left is Wylo II, which has just returned after another circumnavigation, bringing the total to 2 1/2 laps. She just celebrated her 28th B'day.

The one on the right is a Troll motorsailer, converted to sailer, which has circumnavigated....the I.O.W!

And to add to that, the one one the right is sat on a particularly nice bit of hardstanding on the beach. Some overly energetic chap went to great lengths to make it particularly solid whilst he did his restoration. Then I borrowed it temporarily! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Now probably the most sought after piece of beaching ground in the Solent! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well I just thought it was a nice picture!
Found it in the camera this evening but I took it on lift out day last year, 18 Oct, at 0930

There was one off Portchester sailing club last year which I believe had completed a circumnavigation. I am rather drawn to them.

the boats are really well design i'm just wondering how much it would cost you if you buy one??? which is more expensive buying one or building it????
