Tim, Check out http://www.strikalite.co.uk/ first. They work out of a shed in the guy's garden, but they are very good & not too expensive. Just a very satisfied customer. Worth it if only for a comparative cost quote.

I used them some years ago and was happy with the result. Batteries are still chugging away .

I used "Strikealite" about 5 years ago. I had an 7 year old Humminbird Hand Held VHF and the battery would not take a charge.
Strikealite fitted a new battery within the casing and 5 years later its still working perfectly.
You can always telephone them first. They did say label anything you send them. I would use them again.
