A close squeak in the Suez

I did see reports of a bulk carrier aground in the Suez ..... But it looks like they were not up for the same fun and games, this one was smaller at 225m so they have got her off and afloat already

North bound? Seems a long way round.

Don't expect a newshound to know the difference between North and South. They probably get just as confused with the meaning of a westerly gale. According to my tracking program definitely heading south and happened just south of Port Said.
