A cheating 'where is this' (went au voiture)

Isn't that region mainly Flemish speaking, therefore wouldn't know [or pretend not to know] what a voiture is?
 
Technically you are possibly probably right. Sur le autre main, this Mam'selle in the background spoke the English anyway. We spent a rather pleasant deux hours sur le terrace aux Marina Club dans le sun.

A little tale I found amusing.
Some while ago we had to return home urgently and leave the boat in Nieuwpoort at the Royal Yacht Club marina. They asked us to move from the visitors berth to another vacant one. A very pleasant Belgian couple took our lines and very soon drink was taken. It became clear that they spoke to each other in English, and not just for our benefit. When we asked why, he said that his wife only spoke French, not Flemish, and he wouldn't speak French. So normal conversation was in English.
Don't know if it was completely true, but a good story.
