.........not just for summer !

Why is it that few people seem to stay onboard during Autumn/Winter.
Modern boats like caravans are equiped with many facilities and home comforts, you could argue that some are better than some Homes. So were is everyone. On Sunday we were the only people on the marina except the security guard. If you continue to visit your boat on a weekly/ fornightly basis would the need for Dehumidifiers etc still be neccasary ? I think not and intent to prove it, so I will carry out a full research investigating all the angles of winter boating. For this I will require funding for my research which will inevitably help everyone long term so...Donations to my Berthing fee gratefully appreciated. All donaters will of course receive a framed certificate / receipt possibly Tax deductable (dont quote me on it)

Me being such a freddy-no-mates was out on my boat on Sunday.
The river was busy to say the least with a least a dozen or more craft tootling up and down, including some brave Targa type peeps in full skiing type gear.
Several small smoke screens were also issuing fron less adventurous folk who were just running up their engines on the moorings.

I was there matey, I was there!

Out on my boat running her up to 40kts in the interludes between rain and wind squalls. Had a great time last weekend, then as usual, down to the yacht club for an excellent steak & chips and more red wine than you can poke a stick at!
