A bit windy down ere !

It's been windy here too finishing with a hail storm
Now a blue sky and just a light breeze.
It will be a repeat tomorrow, 60mph winds forecast .

Just seen a tree come down on the tow path near Teddington missing by about 10 metres 2 adults with child and dog. Does anybody understand the thought process that goes into deciding to take the family out for a walk among tall poorly rooted trees during severe winds?

F10 ! Pah .
The a light breeze for us Medwayites.
Just got back from checking the moorings. Why do some folks use washing line to secure boats ?
If you look carefully there is a bit of pontoon out there .

Monitoring AIS. and CH74.
The posh new Sheerness lifeboat was standing by up at Upnor for much of the day as was one of the pilot boats. Going to assume that the Camber would be a little tricky to get in or out of with that Westerly wind.
Checking the RCC moorings yesterday and accompanied by one of the crew of the big tugs at Sheerness they had decided to call it a day. Nothing would be going on or off the wharves due to wind.
It was windy but nothing even close to that big blow a few years ago.
