It has come to my attention,while propping up the bar in the clubhouse, generally dissing Thames boaters and while putting the world to rights,that, Ocean Eagle ,was purchased from Byron by a RCC club member.It was also rumoured that the boat was frequently to be spotted in Ramsgate.
Can this be true. ?
The buyer of the boat,now with a largish Fairline,has never mentioned this.?
My top secret source,who spent many years on the Thames at P***** H**k,also at the time had a Princess,possibly a 385 or similar.
