I know it's a bit of a long shot asking this on here, but here goes...

I have just come to 'acquire' (ahem) a second hand Icom M800 SSB transceiver with ATU.

Anyone know of a local, able installer who could install this thing for me?
Just ordered a KISS ground plate and the plan is to use the back-stay as aerial.

If no response on here, I'll give the liveaboard forum a go in a couple of days.

What a wonderful resource the ECF is - even the long shots pay off. :encouragement:

Heard back from Mark this morning. He's willing to take on the job once his workload decreases a bit later in the year.
As this is not a rush job, I am willing to wait (within reason) till he can fit us in.

This has already been done - it comes off another yacht.

Have you already got the backstay / s insulated if not you will need to get them done prior to connecting the ATU.
