Is a 4 month negotiating process a record? Not really negotiating just lots of friendly chats with the owner, we saying how much we could afford and him very graciously meeting us there. But now the survey inspection is just 10 days away and on the 31st of May I will (hopefully) be handing over our hard earned cash.

Anyone else had Pre-survey jitters? Swinging from "what have we done" through to "let's just buy her anyway, ignore the survey"!

The trouble is you get very attached to a boat.

Just be grateful you are the buyer and not the seller!

yes, one invests a lot of dreams as you think about the new boat, and plan how to make her fit your family and lifestyle.

Then reality strikes you as the owner, and you can think of nothing else for weeks.

best of luck..:)
