A 63\' motor yacht for GBP 234k

OK, not new, and almost 20 years old, for sale in the BVIs - have a look :

I am just wondering if the Moboers would consider this to be a good price?
The sailing yachts for sale in the Caribbean generally seem to sell for much less than similar sisterships in Europe, and I am just wondering if the same happens for mobos.
Not many mobos for sale on this site though.
(I have no connection with this mobo or the brokers)

Went to the yard in Kaohsiung in 91 to look at one being built. Filmed it on 8mm. Would love to see the tape now!

While 18 knots cruise might seem slow these days, it seemed perfectly OK then.

I think she was pretty progressive for the time and place.

I don't think it's exactly a bargain either. I wouldn't expect the asking price to be any more in Europe and the probable sale price would be less than £200k. After all, it is just another Far East boat with a less than well known name. I suspect that, being located in the BVI, showing fairly high engine hours and having had an interior refit, she's done a fair bit of chartering in her time (2 liferafts on the flybridge and an EPIRB possibly confirms that). Also, I'd want to know why the port engine had to have a rebuild and the starboard one didn't. An apparently pink interior doesn't exactly help the resale value either. Still, musn't be too harsh on her as she's got a lot of nice kit fitted. Make a good liveaboard at the right price
