INTERCOOLERS SRIPPED AND OVERHAULED EVERY 500HRS. HEAT EXCHANGER RODDED OUT EVERY 3YRS. COOLANT REPLENISHED EVERY 2 YRS INTERNAL ANODES CHANGED WHEN REQUIRED. ITS NOT JUST AN OIL CHANGE THAT HELP KEEPS CYLINDERS HEALTHY.
SO YES MAYBE YOU HAVE MISSED SOMETHING WELL ON SERVICING PROPERLY!

Thanks that's interesting. Didn't know about 'rodding the heat exchanger'. Will speak to the engineer about that during the next service. As a point of interest why is this based on a time period rather than hours run? I would have thought it would have been a hours run service item.

Still 150 hours away from an intercooler overhaul. Flush and replace coolant is already on the list for this year. You have also reminded me to ask him about the engine anodes, haven't managed to locate them myself. Not mentioned in any of the documentation I have for the boat. Probably obvious once they've been pointed out.

Cheers

Mark
