I did my time in the Andrew in Radio and Electronics. Also as I had crossed guns, I was also 'Special Sea Dutymen' (Coston Gunline during RAZ).

Since worked for Trinity House, Lights and Buoys and also Trinity House Pilot Service both at the Sunk and also Folkestone.

Also a very large number of years with the DTI/RIS/Ofcom in research, enforcement and project engineering then finally Radio Design Engineer for AB Pharos marine Ltd.

Now running RDF from my RIB to trace Channel 16 jammers and the person who regularly plays the BT Speaking Clock on 16 during the night on the Solent and surrounding areas. :(

Taint me, I don't keep watches anymore, I sleep at night:D,the boat I did my part III on is now a museum exhibit outside of Haslar.

Being an old fart, I fettle down me boat most days, retirement and boat ownership were made for each other, gardening's for 'erindoors
