65hp to replace 75hp outboard ??

We had on our 5.4 RIB a 75hp ouboard which has since seized (being very old).
I have the chance to buy a fairly new 65hp Suzuki.
Would a fairly new 65hp outboard have as much power as our very old 75hp.

Well, much more power than it has now, /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif but maybe 10 hp more when it was new. Suzuki are a very quiet motor though.

Doubt you would notice a lot of difference. That horsepower on a 5.4m RIB will get you planing easily and cruise at a reasonable speed.
