Coir (coconut fibre) is never normally intended as a warp as it has pretty much zero strength in tension. There are applications for coir for use with hurricane springs, I doubt if there are many instances on the Medway........

Correct ....Our ropes were Sisal

Thanks Roger...I like to know where the wind is coming from, it must be a sailor thing! But I find so useful when mooring up to know where its going to push me! ........and as such...yes there probably is a cat sailor in me!

I was just pulling your leg after our recent repartee...;)

With a closed cabin, a Windex is better than most tell tales or burgees' really. I've still got one or two in my garage to be dug out. :o

Well indeed you can't beat a windex, the odd thing is with a motor boat is most of the time the wind is right on the nose.:)

I'll get my coat…

Talking about Hardy and their appeal, did you see the video on the MBM forum about the Norwegian Saga s/d boats....
Very similar concept.:)

Working to a smaller budget? Then this brilliant used Saga 26HT, a proper little motorboat for under £50,000, might be just the thing
