my only concern is that for a 70 footer construction might not be so good

C'mon PY, show me a 70' monohull with 2,400 hp that can reach 50 kts, and I'll eat my hat.
That can reach 50 kts without falling apart, that is.
Mind, in this case, with a 25T or so displacement, she would probably fall apart even before getting into plane...

Both the weight and the speed are pure fantasy on the part of the builder. It reminds me of the claims Prinz made about their 54 before they built the first one, it was going to be 11 Tonnes, and do 40+ knots with 2 x IPS 600. I think it actually ended up 17 tonnes, and 34 kts.
