Personally I am more inclined to Female that male but I wont go their.
2 nipples would solve the problem as it always does with me but I wont go there either.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a 135° elbow with two male ends - I’d expect to use a female/female one and two short nipples. ASAP would be my first port of call.

I used weld pipe fittings when I made my exhaust as you can cut the elbows to amy angle you wish then grind the end ready to weld the pipes together.
It would also to make up a male - male elbow of any angle simply by welding 2 half nipples to the cut elbow.
I have made all kinds of special pipe fittings that way.
