It has been so hot it is ridiculous, I had 42.5 degrees OUT of the sun in my open cockpit on the boat today, and 36 degrees driving home at 8pm!!! AND I have had 58.4 degrees (137.1 degrees F) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in my conservatory, WITH the climate controlled roof windows OPEN. NOW THAT IS HOT !!! SWMBO was at the market in St Tropez this morning and she and Happy infant are cooking as well, she doesn't know the temp there, but I am glad I am here if it is hotter there!!!

Ten more days AT LEAST they reckon, I hope I make it /forums/images/icons/wink.gif Has this put anyone else off moving their boat to the Med, it has me?

No, I've got my lovely warm dry suit and wooly bear for the UK /forums/images/icons/wink.gif and in November I will be sunning it in the Caribbean, specially planned by SWMBO as we never get a decent summer here /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Only 24C here and torrential rain on and off for several days. Expecting 3" - 6" more today. Pity those poor Euros who've come to not-so-sunny Florida for hols.

It was too hot to go out today 37.5 in the air and no breeze. I went to the boat and for the first time refused to go out as it was too bl&&dy hot! I will be taking it to Soton on Tuesday for 4 days and hopefuly it will be cooler there /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Re: First refusal!

Hi Fred, I did the wreck at low water on Saturday, amazing really that they do not just blow it up. I really had to keep going though it was so hot, did £120 in fuel! Anyway we had some great fun and had the donut out, will try the waterskis this week for the first time, should be a laugh. Does anyone know if you can waterski in a dry suit or is that a daft question?
