40 foot deck saloon

thanks, that thread was more with an dinette downstairs. Are more looking at the alternatives like the Sealine C390

I will suggest one of the Nordic alternatives :): Marex 375. It's a very high quality boat and you really have to get a tour of one in person to appreciate all the various little tricks and smart solutions in the boat.

I believe this model has been in production since 2015/2016 and I think it should be possible to find a secondhand one within your budget. However, I know from the official dealer in Denmark that almost all used boats have been vacuumed off the market this summer - all the Nordic/German dealers have a long list of interested buyers lined up for used boats.

This is a fantastic user focussed boat = what material is the seating - how weather proof is it - looks like Alcantara which I am assuming isnt water proof?

I believe they call the material dark grey alcantara. However, I am not sure if it really is alcantara or some synthetic microfiber/alcantara copy product. They have used this material for many years so I would think that it holds up quite well (or they would probably have received a lot of complaints about it), but you would have to check up with a current owner about that.

See for instance the Marex 360, which has a much more open layout and where they also use the same material:
