40\' Flybridge with stairs

Hi All
We are looking for a 40'ish flybridge but SWMBO and the dog dont do ladders think F37 may be a bit on the small side and not keen on the F43. Apart from Princess 420/440 any others? Budget around £150k.

Princess P38/P40, Fairline Phantom 38 (and 40 I think?), Azimut 39/40, £150k is a good budget so lots of choice.

Re: 40\' Flybridge with stairs

Yup fairline phantom 40 and the later 42 (£150k should get you a 42) had proper stairs (I had a 42 from 1999-2003 - nice boat)

Re: 40\' Flybridge with stairs

Hi
I know of a very nice 2001 Princess 38 with the larger engines that might be of interest.
Not mine, sadly, but PM me an email address for more info & pics.
Cheers
Tim

May be worth looking at the Azimut 42 as older ones should be falling into your budget range and, as slightly left field choices, the Rodman 41 and Beneteau 13.80 are both reputedly good sea boats
You mentioned the F43 but what about the F44?

Re: 40\' Flybridge with stairs

We currently have an F37 and have found it big enough for our needs. Even at sub 40' its always got us home and has surprised me with its sea keeping. The stairs to the flybar are also realy well set out. Gets a bit small when all the non paying adults appear (student offspring) but thankfully thats a rare occurence! Have a play on one you might be surprised. Also at under 40' in the Med we save a fortune on berthing fees. Hope you find what your looking for.

Thanks very much for the info,
I am sure we will have fun looking but at the end of the day SWHBO will decide.
