As for the passage planning, I thought, leisurely breakfast, followed by 8 knot passage using all three sails being chased by brisk North Westerly in brilliant sunshine arriving fresh and relaxed in good time for the evening's festivities. Ah, thats where you tripped up Bernie. Senor Pipedream was expecting an Olympian breakfast rather than a leisurely one, which sounds a bit Ladies Who Lunch, rather than Blokes Who Breakfast.

Think the 3 sail NW'ly grand part of the plan, no mention of surfing down the backs at 10+, which is what our Putative Transatalantean needs.
