The PAYG option with vodafone is expensive but quick to sort out as it doesn't require anything beyond cash and a passport.

That's what we use, €30 per month for 5 Gb, which is perfectly adequate for our use. I think it is true to say that we have never not had a signal throughout Ionian and Aegean. Sometimes a bit variable but always something.

A friend with the Cosmote version pays at exactly the same rate. He was here a few minutes ago, where we found Cosmote very slow indeed by comparison with my Vodafone.

Ah! maybe I should try Vodafone next time (already topped up for next week with Cosmote). You were speaking of the PAYG option with Voda?

I have used one and it was quite good, but I am a knob when it comes to electrickery things, sorry.
Germanos - don't you have to shell out for the USB receiver as an additional cost?
Sorry for the late reply Charles! been on an airyplane. The dongle used to cost 30 euro, I am on land line mobile in Kef, so I don't need it now.

Wind PAYG 14.90€ for 6 Gig valid for 30 days. Although this was an introductory offer we were assured we purchase another sim at the same price. We'll be testing that theory next week. Good reception in the Ionian.
