3D Tender Super Light

There have been a few threads on these and most seem to say they are durable enough.. Have a quick search on the forum and dig up the previous threads..

I just ordered the 200 round tail after speaking with a few on the durability subject who all gave good reviews. Size folded and weight were the two key factors and nothing else came close. I'll let you know how it is in practice once I've used it.

Echo the above comments, having bought one. My use will be light and main points for me were weight and size of packed boat. Have already checked that it goes back easily into the bag, which is often difficult in heavier inflatables.

Thought I'd do an update. I have now had my 3D tender Superlight 200 and it fits with room to spare in my lazarrette in my Merry Fisher 755 even after several inflation and deflations. It is as light to handle as advertised and can easily be carried by one over their head. It fitted myself and my wife fine for rowing but 3 could fit if using an outboard. In terms of keeping it inflated on a trip between stop off points, I have found it fits on the cabin roof, long ways at the rear so out of the way of the sunroof etc. image.jpg

Thanks for the update.. Looks like it's quite a neat fit on the roof too..

Perfect fit and very light to handle so makes it a genuine usable option. We are currently away for the week and have used it several times to explore places we wouldn't have been able with a fully loaded boat for a weeks break, the old tender would have been too large and cumbersome on top of all the other necessities.....

We have had a 3d250 for 3 seasons now this being its 4th. Apart from the bag strap clamps falling apart, the tender itself is still going strong. Not the most robust tender ever when in use and can be a bit splashy due to the smaller dia tubes, but overall, the compact nature and weight make them easy to handle, roll up and store in the locker. We had a Honwave before which was far stronger and steered better etc., but it weighed nearly 3 times as much, was bigger when folded and was a git to pull on and off the mother ship. The 3D, I can lift easily on my own.
