3am. Woken by bilge alarm. Dishwasher sump has failed and dumped grey water into forward bilge.
Forward bilge is only pumping to level of float switch meaning every extra drip or two reaching bilge is triggering pump and alarm without actually pumping out.
And got to sign on at voluntary job at 9 that I am “rested and fit for duty”.
Got to love the rough end of boating, haven’t you?
A look in morning shows sensor on dishwasher sump failed, I had had my suspicions about it. Tomorrow I’ll drop a new one in and test; I’ll then investigate why bilge pump isn’t getting level down below float. Not as if I have anything better to do.
