Dear Skipper-Friends!

I think in my early thirties, now I’m 67, I read an travelreport „Round England with a little Hardy“ in an English motorboat magazine.

Perhaps Motorboating Monthly?

As I remember a couple in retirement, like we now, made a circumnavigation during two summers with a small cabin cruiser, a Hardy 20, or a similar boat, I’m not sure.

This happens before I start boating with my own boat, but it I think it was the initial ignition for my own preference for long journeys.

Since years I search in the www to find a pdf or something similar of this travel report and I would be very glad to find someone in the forum who can give me an advice or a link to find the document.

Meanwhile we have finished our this year trip the Seine up and down to Paris.

If there is any interest plaese ask for details.

Many thanks in advance and warm greetings from Dieppe/Normandy where we just are lying for some days.

Stefan

Thats very kind! I look forward to read from you again!

Have a safe trip!

Cordially! Stefan

In Motorboats Monthly many years ago there was a report from a couple going round Britain in a small Hardy. I think it's probably the article you're referring to, I remember they weren't a retired couple as by the end of the trip she was pregnant! If my memory serves me correctly Hugo was the editor of MBM at the time, so it's over 20 years ago. Sorry I haven't got the article.
