I am trying to source 32mm fuses, the ones you often find with in-line fuse holders.
I need a selection of 1,3 and 5A

Most swindleries sell them in small blister packs of 3. Is there a cheaper source out there?

Cheers

Are they the same that used to be used on classic cars i.e. glass middle if so try classic car clubs much bettrer price!

There is an ebay shop called fuses uk which is cheap and quick. Neither Maplins or my local chandlers could get me 20mm 12 amp fuses whcih is what was needed for my fuse panel and my autopilot.

All done over the net, arrived in days. If you need fuses that aren't in the general chadlery stock, try this source.

If you want more than a few try RS.

You'd have to order quite a few to make the postage worthwhile, of course, unless you can get to one of their trade counters.

Can't remember where I found mine but I hunted high and low for colour coded markings without success.

All the fuses look alike and in the dark/poor eyesight it's impossible to see the amperage on the cap ends.

I've now adopted self adhesive 'dots', purchased at a stationers, which have numbers on them to indicate the amperage- now I can tell at a glance what's blown and if I have a replacement

Furneaux riddall do boxes of 50/100 at good prices

[/ QUOTE ] Yes much cheaper if you buy a large quantity. I fell for that one about 35 years ago when buying some fuses for the car. Traded the car in about 4 years later. Anybody want 99 35amp fuses. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
