Whatever these people you met think, we, your sailing community, respect you and your achievements.

Put it another way, there are plenty of people who are not worth associating with. But also plenty who are. Beers is on me if you are ever down the Southampton or Hamble way.

Thats a very nice comment to make. Thanks for that. I woke the other morning to find your former boat tied up next to mine. made me smile. Glad your back on the water with a new boat.

Wow Steve I didn’t know she had left Hamble. But I am delighted to hear that she was being used and getting around. New boat is warsash side of HP11. Say hi if you pass.

Dont think she has. For my sins I keep my boat at the Elephant boatyard. She was there a couple of times while they were working on her. I did not recognise her at first glance. Ive looked out for your boat as I head up and down the river. Fuel costs mean I dont get down as much. Last down I did the unoficial RTIR race. It was a once in a lifetime experience with fabulous sailing conditions. ill keep an eye out for you as im up and down the river in the next few days.
