So, just today, Wednesday and Thurday to finish up. We are getting on quite well but the stands behind us only had the carpet laid at lunchtime and they are suspending a boat vertically from the ceiling apparently /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Anyway, a few pics from today at the show build up. Mainly from around our stand as I was nonstop all day, so appologies to those who want a better over view, stuff certainly seemed to be moving in EC1 but I never got there today /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

An early morning start for us as our missing boat finally pitched up after midnight last night. Torn wrap means a day cleaning tomorrow as well /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

This really was the last time we could get in. The empty space where the truck is should be full of boats /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif. Anyway, soon enough she was sat on her cradle:

As soon as we got out the way, the carpet laying started in earnest

Before they started to move the boats in. Apparently the dangling boat will sit in the middle of the cricle:

And rumour has it they will be restoring this during the show:

Small boat and dingy section still looking a bit bleak, but the shell schemes and things all due tomorrow apparently:

Pleased to say we are done with the stand. Just tedious cleaning to do now. For those who want a sneal peak see below (warning, this does contain pics of our boats /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif).

Moving the 34 onto the stand using 'skates'.

A couple of views from up high(ish):

And all finished (well, nearly anyway /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif)

Quite looking forward to it now. Any forumites will be very welcome on the stand - we at least have a bit more room than SIBS /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Looking good Jez. I'm not sure I can be seen on your stand though - we are working the Raymarine stand demoing E series plotters. What with that Simrad radar up there what are we to do? Tell you what I'll meet you in the G Bar /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Not to mention the thumping great big Simrad Plotter, Autopilot and so on.

Well, I did try to talk to Raymarine but they weren't interested. Their loss.

G Bar sound like a plan - so many drinking hole I reckon I could spend most of the week pissed /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

That small Westline with the blue hull - looks very similar to an Uttern D68 - Any similarity?

Both built in Sweden, so come from the same neck of the woods they aim at the same market.

Our boat is a bit longer (7.55m vs. 6.82m) so has a bit more room in the cabin, though not much as we have deep walk around decks, as opposed to the Uttern which takes the flat fordeck right to the hull meaning through screen access. We have three berths, I think the Uttern has two but not 100% sure.

The Uttern costs a bit less as well.

Good choice - the CX unit presumably?

er, maybe /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Haven't looked that closly, it was the factories choice but looks like a nice bit of kit. It is HUGE /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sadly not. The boat is literally straight from the factory and hasn't been water tested yet. Nor have the engines been PDI'd and the belts are missing from one and the props from boths.

Which is a shame, as it has a pair of D4-300's - YEEEHAAAAAA!

Thats a dam shame!
Make sure you take plenty of pics of it then, inside and out.
And post as many as you want on here as far as i'm concerned. It looks a cracking boat, and i'd like to see more of it. Hope you have a good show.
.
Cheers

Al.

Hey Jez - see you there tomorrow PM (other forumites, please don't ask!).

Tell yer what, it must be a real blast being an exhibitor of your own boats with your own concession.

Am I jealous? No, not really. Telecoms is a great industry to be in and err...errr OK, maybe just a little /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Jealous?
Too right. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Can,t make LBS, Boo Hoo. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Hey Jezz, get Snelson a few red wines, yer could Sign Him up!!
Then again, dunno, could be cheaper to give Him a boat.
Have a Nice Show Chaps.
Good piccies and stuff Jezz.
Keep it coming, nice to see the Gig building up on the Forum.
Good insight to what goes on.
Hey Jezz, if Snelson offers His Rig in PX, gis a shout, could underwrite it for You.
It works on alternative fuel.
Bit like the owner /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Wow. 600bhp on a 34! What's she expected to top out at?

[/ QUOTE ]

Haven't fully tested one yet. They have had 42 out of twin D4-260's so I guess 45/46 is on the cards for 300's /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wasnt going to go to the show but thanks to all your pics i might have to /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
34 looks great hope you have a successfull show.

Looking forward to seeing the 34 in the flesh!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Jez,

All looking Great! I only hope I escape Latin America in time to see the show. Mind you the things you can get up to in Bogota...

Is there an Interior in the W34?

Cheers

Paul /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well,

I know you will not want to spoil the surprise for some but can you PM a few of the interior...I am drooling sat here and not just because of all the ladies walking past the window!

Or put them on here at MY request!

Cheers
