I’ve just changed the oil on my Yanmar 3JH5E engine. I only do this once per year so not possible for me to remember tube sizes and so on. I use a 12v pump and I have a box of assorted tubes. It takes me a while to get the right combinations of tubes.
Cleaning up, I’ve found 12 inches of 3/8 tube on the right hand side of the engine bay, looking forward, lying on the bearers. It may have come from the box of assorted tubes but it looks suspiciously as though it’s come off some sort of atmosphere overflow/vent.
I’ve had a good look around the engine bay but nothing obvious. It doesn’t look like coolant, it’s not a battery vent.
Does anyone have this same engine and/or have any ideas for me to check?
Many thanks
