3.5hp OB with no reverse for a Corribee?

I've read some horrendous weights for new four-strokes...like the Honda 4hp short shaft - 27kg! So, if anyone is building a 17kg 3.5hp four stroke, let's not be ungrateful - it could be far, far worse.

Good point, my glass should be half full.

I suppose the small step from 3.5hp to 4hp is accompanied by a substantially bigger block, more sophisticated transmission and other upgrades that its engineers felt it warrants. But considering a new 4hp weighs more than a two stroke 9.8hp, and double what a two stroke 3.5hp weighed, I am happier going without that extra half horse-power, whether I buy new or old.

I have a 5hp on my corribee and it never has to work particularly hard. I have a dinghy tiller extension on the gear lever and an extension on the throttle to, so once the engine is running I can control it from the comfort of the cockpit.
